Parallels updated its Parallels Server product on Tuesday fixing several issues that caused the virtualization application to crash under certain circumstances.
According to the company a bug that caused a kernel panic when playing sound inside a virtual machine with two virtual CPUs has been fixed; a problem with a non-responsive mouse and keyboard during the installation of Mac OS X Server guest OS has been fixed; and a crash on boot after exiting PXE boot (from Acronis PXE server) has been fixed.
Other problems have been fixed including one that caused the Parallels Management Console to crash when closing it on certain Mac OS X hosts.
Parallels Server is available for download from the company’s Web site. For new users, the application costs $1248.75.
I seem to have some processes that constantly freeze, crash, restart and repeat (in very short amounts of time)... I have asked Parallels why this is occurring and i was told to ask Apple.
Was just wondering if this is a problem other users are experiencing. It seems as though they are legit Mac processes that don't like it when Parallels is running... is there any way around this?
I am more curious than anything... Performance has not been affected and until it does I'm not too worried about it.
